Institutional identity and communications

More institutional projects

Concise profiles of work for public bodies, educational and cultural institutions, clubs, events and outreach programmes. Projects span different periods and scales and are presented without a ranking.

Each project balances memory, public representation and everyday use in a different way. An anniversary, museum, club or city needs its own way of expressing belonging, guiding audiences and working in the places where the institution becomes visible.

City Government of Buenos Aires

First prize, ADG open design competition

The proposal for the City Government of Buenos Aires won first prize in an open competition organised by ADG. The identity needed to convey a recognisable city to residents and visitors without being tied to a single administration, department or message.

The programme balanced a central identity with distributed implementation: shared references for communications and signage, plus enough guidance for different departments to address their own public-facing needs.

IDEA’s 30th Anniversary

Argentine Institute for Business Development · First prize, ADG open design competition

IDEA’s 30th anniversary called for a distinctive identity that could sit alongside the institution’s reputation and history. The award-winning proposal avoided conventional anniversary decoration and distilled the message into a restrained graphic gesture.

It made the occasion recognisable on invitations and commemorative materials while remaining appropriate to IDEA’s business community.

Club Náutico Zárate

Club Náutico Zárate brings together institutional history, sport and social life around the river. The identity needed to honour that tradition while working on sports equipment, clothing and everyday communications.

A simple, distinctive form made the emblem easy to adopt: it could represent the club on a document, accompany a team or be recognised at a distance on the water.

100 Years of Rowing in Argentina

Tigre International Regatta Commission

The centenary of rowing in Argentina combined a sporting celebration with a historical and ceremonial occasion. The identity needed to acknowledge a community with a shared memory and provide a framework for publications, tributes and promotion.

The commemorative mark captured that history without competing with participating institutions, giving publications and ceremonial materials a shared tone for telling the story of a hundred years.

Identity for 100 Years of Rowing in Argentina

Museum of Science and Technology

Faculty of Engineering, University of Buenos Aires

The Museum of Science and Technology needed to connect its place within the Faculty of Engineering, the significance of its building and a collection devoted to scientific and technical knowledge. The mark responds to that relationship rather than depicting a single object.

Stationery and signage carry the connection into the visitor experience and academic communications, with a visual language suited to identifying spaces and presenting cultural content.

Scope of work

Brand design · Identity system · Institutional applications · Signage · Stationery

Instituto San Francisco de Asís

Instituto San Francisco de Asís needed an approachable identity for its school community while retaining an institutional presence. A readily recognisable mark and welcoming palette set the tone for students, families and teachers.

The real test was everyday use: notebooks, stationery and printed materials needed to remain legible, warm and economical to produce.

Argentine Chess Championship

The Argentine Chess Championship called for an identity that conveyed the game’s competitive tension and had the impact of an event brand. The mark brings pieces, board and movement together in a direct composition.

That approach supported dynamic variations in communications and promotional materials without needing a different literal depiction for each piece.

Scope of work

Brand design · Event communications · Visual system · Promotional materials · Graphic applications

Buenos Aires Tourism

City Government of Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires Tourism needed to introduce the city to audiences who might know it only through a few references. The identity brings urban, cultural and experiential cues together without reducing the destination to a single landmark.

Trade shows, airports and international presentations demanded visibility from a distance and information at a glance. The materials combine impact and descriptive detail to support business conversations, institutional outreach and destination promotion.
